Always a pleasure to go here! Always good food & service, even when absolutely packed with people. The staff & management remain cheerful & focussed at all times. A must try when in the area. Just be patient. It is worth the wait.
A lovely country pub. Great atmosphere and service. Food was excellent and freshly cooked. Home made pies and burgers. 6 of us ate and all were very impressed with there meal. Highly recommended you go for a visit and a meal. We will certainly be going back very soon.
Wonderful pub on edge of the New Forest. Lovely and accommodating with fabulous food. A must if you like game but a great variety of other home cooked food if you don't.
Nice food, came very quickly, quite a few vegetarian options. Nice setting and friendly atmosphere. Sunday lunchtime is busy. Best to reserve!
Great pub, always or first stop when we visit the New Forest. The pies are legendary but the specials board might be a little too diverse for its own good as some of the dishes don't shine as much as they could (the home made BBQ on the ribs for example is pretty tasteless).All in all a recommended stop but if you're eating, the pies are your best bet.
