Well-kept beer. Decent pub menu but pies tend to be over-heavy on "crust" (ie vehicle) at thr expense of filling (ie food).
Fab food and service. And, the ambience is soon to be updated with a full refurbishment. WOW !

What a lovely, friendly pub. Good selection of traditional beers and other drinks. The food is first class. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will most definitely be back for more.
Best meal of our holiday. Congenial, friendly host and restaurant quality food at pub prices. Ale is very well kept. We had homemade pizza, sticky soy pork ribs, and peppered duck breast on vanilla mash. Even better than it sounds. Perfect end to our holiday.
