I needed to re-furbish and repair a 22 m2 felt covered flat roof in Fordingbridge and contacted the Resin Roofing Company for a quotation to remove the old roof and replace it with a new resin roof. I met Pete the contractor at the site the following day and we discussed the options for the work and he quoted me a price which was very competitive with that of a felt roof replacement and was able to offer to do the work the next week. The work was carried out over two days and I am delighted with the result.The work included stripping off the old felt, and covering the insulation below with a full OSB decking fixed to the joists below. The resin coat was applied as two layers including some glass fibre reinforcement. The finished product clearly provides a good waterproof seal particularly where it is merging with a tiled roof and the firm wooden base makes it more hard-wearing than felt. Pete has shown himself to be a friendly, reliable and competent contractor and I can strongly recommend his services.
