Lovely traditional country pub in a picturesque village with an excellent menu of home cooked food.
I visited very early one winter's eve and found a delightful village pub with real fire, real ale and real atmosphere. I did have a good meal too, from what I recall. There is parking at the rear.
Still one of my favorite places to go to. I do not go there that often, I leave it for special occassions. The drive to it is brilliant, the hamlet is very beautiful. It seems every time we have been there they had a bunch of locals, that created a nice atmosphere. It's very cozy, the service was always so nice. Food is great too. Could never try too many beers as need to drive there.
Lovely food. Great service. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Car park is hidden away at the back and bit of tight squeeze to get there.
Excellent food. Been here thrice. Twice for food. Quality pub environment and beautiful garden. Car Park is well hidden, but spacious. Beer quality is excellent. Will be making regular return visits with family. But, my god, wait til you try their beef and horseradish sandwiches!
