Nice little park great for kids
We went to the park for the Fordingbridge Festival, our second year in a row, and had a lovely day walking around all the stalls and activities, including; the chicks, pigs, ferrets and the train ride. Lots of stalls with food, ice cream and drinks and even though the river was taped off you could still see the River Avon in all its splender in this area, more so when the fly fishing was tried out on the river bank. A great family day out in a lovely setting with good parking, appropriate entry fee, pet friendly, and strongly recommended, and oh boy was it hot that day.
Had great fun kayaking, shame you can't get far up stream as large tree has fallen across the river. 5 stars if council or river authorities gets that out of the way. Not too much of a current so ideal for begginers
Went for the pumpkin picking and had a lovely family morning. Arrive early as it gets busy, lots of choice and great staff. Crafts and food stalls too.
Children love to paddle in the river here as well as enjoying the playground n paddling pool. I enjoyed a cuppa from the refreshment kiosk. Snacks available here too.
